for the overlooked genius.

I didn't come up through venture. Honestly, I didn't even know the industry existed when I started my career. I pivoted from HR, and my first VC role at CapitalG was created for me. There was no blueprint and no predecessor. Just a hunch that venture capital was missing something human and that the deals and the dollars meant nothing without the relationships behind them. That hunch became the through-line of everything I've built since. I don't connect people as a utility — a favor, a transaction, a line item. I connect people because I know the values I want to see exist in the world, and the fastest way there is by putting the right people in the same room. The venture. The writing. The fragrance. Different rooms, same instinct.
WORK

Investing at SignalFire

I lead the Ecosystem function at SignalFire, a $3B AI-native venture firm — a role that, like my first one, didn't exist before I built it. I manage the relationships that make the portfolio move: founders, strategic partners, and labs like OpenAI and Anthropic.
Before this, I built the Community and Business Development function at CapitalG, Google's $7B growth equity fund — also from scratch. When Covid-19 hit, my C-suite communities gave executives at some of the world's best companies a room to think out loud when nobody had a playbook.

Philosophy

Three ideas I build on

Beauty, fashion, fragrance, venture, and Black entrepreneurship can read as separate worlds. I move through all of them building the same thing: the relationships underneath.
01

Ready

To collapse the distance between where people are and where they want to be -- room by room, relationship by relationship.
02

Set

A world where your zipcode doesn't determine your ceiling or success in life.
03

Sadasia

Before I learned the word "ecosystem," the Bronx taught me how one works: who gets access depends on who's connected. That's a design problem, and I'm here to redesign it. I think in systems because I'm trying to change one.
